At Farm Friends, we recognise our tamariki as valued members of our society with the ability to make a significant impact. We celebrate days such as Gumboot Friday, Daffodil Day, and Pink Shirt Day; encouraging our children to understand the role they have within our communities and the impact their actions can have.
Our whānau are central to the lives of our tamariki; their first teachers. We value the contribution they bring to our centre and consistently look at ways we can strengthen our learning-focused relationships. Parents and families are woven into the fabric of our centre whānau; they are just as important to us as their children. We invite our community into the centre often for celebrations such as Christmas and Matariki. They are such special nights of the year; a time to bond, laugh, eat, and spread aroha among ourselves.
